Cobbler Knowledge Bowl

The Knowledge Bowl season runs from September to February. Competitions are on five Saturdays in the fall for the Black Hills Region Knowledge Bowl championship. Central also travels to Huron for their Quiz Bowl, to Huron for the National Science Bowl South Dakota Region competition, to Boulder CO. for the National Ocean Science Bowl Trout Bowl meet and we stand ready to take on any team at any time. In 2005 & 2006 Central won the South Dakota Science Bowl and represented SD in Washington DC at the National Competition.

In 2011 Central won the Huron Quiz Bowl, came in third at the SD Science Bowl and finished second in the finals of the local Knowledge Bowl competition. Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday after school in Rm 126. Our team is quite willing to work with students that are involved in other activities and welcome new players at any time of the school year.
